Education was a priority in Marichi’s life.  A scholarship in her name is awarded to a Live Oak High School senior annually.  
 

In 2025, the recipient of our scholarship was Marcus Mack. Marcus will be attending LSU! Go Tigers!

Previous recipients include Savannah Hall, Kaycie Bennett, Kaylyn Chaisson, Maryanne McClure, Veronica Loper, Taylor Johnson, Savannah Brown, Monica Alford, Tristan Kidder, Danielle Rushing, Tynetra Kendrick, Jacob Columbo, Mary Kathryn McCleary, Karaline Wells, Braden Robinson, Braylee Boze, and Clayten Ray.  We are proud to continue Marichi’s legacy through the lives of Live Oak High graduates.
